Urban Tutor was founded in 2016 by Mrs. Alisha Zaveri Fidelis. It aims to uplift the career of those who cannot complete their academic journey due to social, economic or psychological factors.
The weaker students and underprivileged sections of society often lack proper resources for education owing to reasons including gender discrimination, unavailability of the right institutions or curriculum for education, etc. which stops their career growth. Urban Tutor stands with students who couldn’t complete their education due to failed subjects, educational gap, disability or participation in sports.
When you love what you do, it generates the most outstanding results. We genuinely believe if the students are motivated to do what they are best at, they are capable of transforming society for the better. Thus, we utilize our presence to revitalize their goals.
Our founders are visionaries who focus on the overall development of the students. Through training for aptitude, professional skills, and a comprehension of many job alternatives, our competency enables us to become a partner in transforming careers.

Ms. Alisha Zaveri Fidelis
Founder
Ms. Alisha Zaveri Fidelis, Founder of Urban Tutor is a Researcher, Trainer, and Educationist. She has completed her graduation in Psychology and Master in Social Work. Her interest lies in the upliftment of society, especially children by providing them quality education, and hence the idea of Urban Tutor came into existence.
She always believed learning is a continuous process, upgrading skills is a need of the hour that encouraged her to become a certified British Council Trainer, POSH Enabler, and certified as a Government Soft Skill Trainer under Skill Development Of India.
Ideation to Reality Of The Urban Tutor
Urban Tutor's foundation was laid in 2016 with 1 student of the NIOS board but the full-fledged functioning started in back in 2018 in Ahmedabad.
According to the founder, India within the coming 10 years will have the world's largest youth population ready for Jobs and thus it becomes a necessity to educate the children of today. The children of today are the future of tomorrow and hence education is the key that can help us resolve the social challenges of the country.
Founders of Urban Tutor with their motto Shaping Concepts To Understand Easily wishes to make Education accessible for all in every sense. Needless to say, the founders of Urban Tutor truly live up to the famous saying by Nelson Mandela; ''Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world".

Our head educator, Mrs. Mita holds 27 years of rich experience in the field of teaching. Over time, she has lived the nitty-gritty of the education sector and is extremely passionate about what she pursues. It needs a giving mind for a teacher to explicitly work towards the development of every child, and the same reflects in the efforts she puts into creating an extraordinary learning environment that supports quality education and exposure.
With a powerful vision mixed with her expertise, she is an enabler of transformation among her students. With her dedication to making education interesting, unique and so easy that anyone can learn, she creates a base for every child who faces difficulties while studying and takes constructive measures to overcome the same.
