Both curricula emphasize analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities essential to prepare students for their careers.
CBSE

CBSE conducts two examinations — the All- India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE - Class XII) and the All-India Secondary School Examination (AISSE - Class X). NCERT, or The National Council of Educational Research and Training, recognizes CBSE and manages central schools (Kendriya Vidyalaya &; Jawahar Navodya Vidyalaya).

ICSE has taken a significant portion of its syllabus from the National Council of Educational Research and Training. It conducts ICSE for Class X, considered the most challenging board test. The Indian School Certificate or ISC is conducted for Class XII, with its highly exhaustive syllabus, is equally problematic.

Employability Training
Every employer looks for candidates who have the right skills that stand above the qualifications and experience. With Employability Training, students get to learn employability skills and combine them for an improved sense of self-awareness.
The four critical skills that you will learn from this training are:
● Interpersonal Skills
Many a times interpersonal skills come naturally to people but for others, it must be learned. Urban Tutor believes that interpersonal skills starts with self-awareness and go on to include clear communication, awareness of your surroundings and people collaborating and working well with your peers, presentation skills, mentoring when the need arises and so on.
● People/Teamwork
Teamwork is vital in every setting may it be formal or informal. We grow up seeing the shining example of our parents who together juggle work and household to provide the best for the family. Teamwork becomes a tad bit challenging when you are dealing with people you do not know on a personal level, you will have to understand your peers to collaborate with them is a better way. The need for teamwork cannot be stressed enough.
● Applied Knowledge
Applied knowledge is learning that is used in various situations and contexts. Students use various procedures and analytical tools to formulate and generalize concepts to solve diverse problems and situations.
● Workplace Ethics
Whatever is the nature of your work, it is always a good idea to create a positive work atmosphere this allows everyone around to feel comfortable and perform to the best of their abilities. Workplace ethics also go a long way in strengthening the bond among employees as well as with their superiors. Urban Tutor instills in its students the workplace ethics to adhere to and become an excellent co-worker.
POSH / POSCO Training
POSH and POSCO are aids in the hands of individuals to protect themselves against any kind of physical or mental sexual harassment. Unfortunately, there have been multiple instances wherein innocent people have been maliciously trapped because of false allegations under
POSH and POSCO. That is why it is crucial to spread awareness about the nuances of such serious laws which end up ruining lives of both, the victim and the one who was incorrectly branded under the allegations of sexual misconduct. Through Urban Tutor’s POSH training programme, employees who unknowingly end up offending or mistreating their fellow workers can get a deeper understanding of their actions and take steps in the right direction. We help organizations carve out initiatives, drive and constitute committees as well as redressal systems for POSH related complaints.
In a landmark decision by the Indian government, Protection of Children against Sexual Offences Act, also known as POCSO, came into existence in 2012. The POCSO Act is much appreciated because it holds any spectator, individual or group, accountable if they do not report any kind of sexual offence against a child. Under the act, the accused has to prove their innocence rather than the child having to prove that the offence occurred which means assumed guilty until proven innocent. The mental and physical safe-keeping of the aggrieved child is the top-most priority as per the POCSO Act.
Our training module includes-
● Awareness Program
Awareness and acknowledgment are the initial steps towards solving a problem. We begin with bringing everyone together, explaining what kind of actions lead to an individual feeling uneasy and what includes sexual assault, explaining how we can spot such instances and help out the ones suffering.
● Policy Implementation
All words and no action would lead to zero positive change, that is why we implement a well-thought-out plan. By involving all the stakeholders like employees, employers, working staff, teachers, guardians, children, etc. in training programmes, we teach them how to better protect themselves and identify the assaults.
● Forming IC Committee
Creating committees for the protection of individuals would make them feel heard, moreover there will be trained individuals at the helm who with compassion can handle such difficult situations.
